[UPDATE: moved to 11/15.] I will a judge for Code in the Schools’ 2nd annual Game Jam, hosted by Mindgrub! Takes place at Mindgrub HQ, November 15, from 8AM to 8PM. It is free and open to the public. 5th through 12th graders will be designing games using Unity 2D.
I will be speaking at USA’s Casual Connect in San Francisco. My talk will take place on July 24th, from 3:00 – 3:20. I will be discussing the essential steps necessary to create a successful mobile game.
I will be presenting during UMBC’s Digital Entertainment Conference at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 26th, 2014. I will be talking about why production quality is important in gaming, how it adds value, and quick ways to include it in your game by using Corona and Unity. For the second year in a row Mindgrub is the title sponsor.
February 8th to 9th, along with the Digital Designers Guild, I will be co-hosting the DDG Game Jam for University of Baltimore students! It’s a 24 hour game jam with a theme of text-based games and will be held at the Mindgrub Games office space.
